Tyn Y Graig Cottage is in Crynant. It's attached to our house, which is where we live. We've got boarding kennels here too, so you might hear a dog bark now and then. It's a three-bedroom house that sleeps four. There's two bathrooms. You're welcome to bring one dog.
The main thing is the view. The house looks out over our trout fishing lake and the fields beyond. It's a peaceful spot. There's an enclosed garden and patio area that's just for you. It's got a washing machine, a TV, and parking right outside.
It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's comfortable and clean. It's not a fancy new-build, it's a proper house. The kitchen is spacious.
You can fish on the lake if you want to. It's extra, but you can sort that out with us when you're here.
The village shop is about half a mile away. The closest pub is a mile and a half, so you'll probably want to drive. For a bigger shop, Neath isn't far.
You're in a good spot for getting out. The Gnoll Country Park in Neath is nice for a walk. If you like cycling, the trails at Afan Forest Park are about a twenty-minute drive. The beach at Aberavon is sandy and is roughly half an hour away by car.
Further out, you've got Swansea and the Gower Peninsula for more beaches. Cardiff is about an hour if you fancy a city trip. For planning walks, the Visit Wales site is useful, and the National Trust in Wales has good information on their places.
Bedding and towels are included. We provide a BBQ. Just to be clear, the electricity is included in the price.
