Tyn Y Graig Cottage Crynant

Tyn Y Graig is a cottage attached to our house. We live next door. We also run boarding kennels on the same grounds. That's the first thing to mention. It's a working place. The dogs are secure in their kennels, but you will hear them. If you're okay with that, then it's a very peaceful spot.

The cottage sleeps four. Three bedrooms upstairs: two doubles and a bunk room. There's bathroom with a bath downstairs, and a separate shower room upstairs. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean, comfortable, and everything works.

The living area is open plan, which is quite modern for a cottage. The kitchen is separate. The garden is enclosed and private, with a patio and furniture.

You get views over our trout fishing lake. You can fish it for a cost if you want to, but you don't have to. It's a nice thing to look at.

The shop is about half a mile away in Crynant. The nearest pub is about a mile and a half. For a wider choice, you're a short drive from Neath.

You're well placed here. For walking and cycling, Afan Forest Park is on the doorstep. Gnoll Country Park near Neath is good for a gentler stroll. The Gower coast and Aberavon beach are within about half an hour's drive.

If you want a day out, Swansea is 30 minutes away for shopping or the marina. Cardiff is about an hour.

Facilities: TV, washing machine, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
