The Barn
The Barn is on our land, just outside Neath. It's one of two places here, The Cottage and The Barn. They're separate. You get your own bit of garden with it.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. We finished renovating it in 2021, so it's in good shape. Everything's clean and works.
The location is quiet, on the edge of some woods. You can walk straight from the door into Dyffryn woods. It's a bit of a climb, but you get good views over Neath and the Bristol Channel from the top on a clear day. There's a wildlife pond on the land too.
For getting out, you're quite central. Neath town is about three miles for shops. Swansea and its big beach are about nine miles. The Gower Peninsula is roughly 20 miles away for better beaches.
If you like mountain biking, Bike Park Wales is 40 minutes away and Afan Forest trails are 25 minutes. For a day out with kids, the National Showcaves Centre are a short drive. Craig y Nos country park is pretty much across the road.
Cardiff is about an hour by car or you can get the train from Neath.
In terms of what's here: there's parking, an enclosed garden, a BBQ, and a washing machine. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two pets.
