Y Stabl
This is Y Stabl, in Rhos, Carmarthenshire. It's one of three cottages converted from old farm buildings, on our working farm. You get your own place, but we're up at the main house if you need anything.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's warm and comfortable. It's all on one floor, no stairs, which is handy.
The cottage looks out over the valley. There's a patio with a table and chairs, and a BBQ. You're welcome to wander around the farm land. There's a public footpath that runs right through it if you want to start a walk from the door.
The local pub is about a mile away, in the village. It's a proper village pub. Pontardawe is a couple of miles, it's got shops, a leisure centre, and a cinema.
You're in a good spot for getting out. The Afan Valley is right there for cycling or walking. The Brecon Beacons National Park is about half an hour's drive north. For the coast, the Gower Peninsula is under an hour south. You've got everything from castles to caves within a thirty minute drive. Margam Park is about twenty-five minutes. Dan yr Ogof show caves are maybe forty.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a washing machine, TV with satellite, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and a highchair. There's parking right outside.
