Ty Glyndwr
Ty Glyndwr is a detached house in Gurnos, just on the edge of the Brecon Beacons. It's a modern house, purpose-built for holidays. The garden is private. It's got a hot tub and a ping pong table.
It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. There are three bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. Everything works and is clean. The stairs are fine, there's a handrail.
The main living area is open-plan, kitchen and sitting room together. It's a good size for a group. There's a proper dining table. The utility room leads out to the garden. There's a ground floor wet room, which is handy.
All the bedrooms are upstairs. One has a super king bed and its own ensuite. Two more have super king beds and there's a twin room. Each bedroom has a TV and a bathrobe.
There's a shop and a pub about a five minute walk away. The pub serves food.
For getting out, the Brecon Beacons are right there. Pen y Fan, the highest peak, is about a 35 minute drive. The National Trust Brecon Beacons page has good walk ideas. The Gower Peninsula, for beaches, is about 30 minutes away. Rhossili Bay is the famous one. Check the tide times if you're walking out to Worms Head.
The waterfall at Henrhyd is about 25 minutes by car. The National Trust page for Henrhyd Falls has visiting information. The National Showcaves Centre for Wales, with the dinosaur park, is about a 20 minute drive.
The house has things like a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking for several cars. Bedding and towels are included. We allow up to three dogs. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them.
