Joshua's Den
This is Joshua's Den. It's on our farm just outside Swansea. It's a single place for two people.
The star rating is four, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's a converted outbuilding. Inside, it's all one room with a kitchen area, a bed, and a separate shower room. There's a TV. You have your own private bit of garden with a fire pit and a swing seat under a pergola.
It's a working farm with horses, so you'll see us about sometimes. You get the views across the fields. It's quiet.
Swansea's about twenty minutes in the car. You've got the beaches there, and the Marina. The Mumbles is good for a walk by the sea. For a proper country walk, Lliw Reservoir is close by. The Gower Peninsula is maybe half an hour away. The beaches there, like Rhossili, are very good. The National Trust Gower page has all the details for that.
In terms of what's here: the parking is right outside. Bedding and towels are included. It's all electric. There's a shower cubicle, not a bath.
It's listed as 'Glamping', which I suppose means it's a compact, wooden building with the essentials. It's cosy. There's another similar place called Jacob's Den next door if you know another couple who want to come.
