Lily Vale Cottage
Lily Vale Cottage is in Pontarddulais. It's a small town, so everything you need is nearby. The cottage is detached but it's in our garden. You get your own space.
It's for three people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. It's not huge, but it's fine for a small family or friends.
The stairs are a bit steep. The shower is electric. There's a cot in the cupboard under the stairs if you need one.
You're about five minutes' walk from the high street. There's a shop and a couple of pubs. The one on the square does food.
For a day out, the Gower Peninsula is about half an hour's drive. Rhossili Bay is the famous one. Three Cliffs Bay is good too. The National Trust looks after a lot of it.
The Brecon Beacons are about 40 minutes north. Good for walking. The waterfalls around Pontneddfechan are closer, maybe 20 minutes.
Swansea is 20 minutes by car. They've got the marina, shops, that sort of thing. Cardiff is about an hour if you fancy a city day.
There's a small enclosed patio with a table. Parking for one car right outside. Wifi works. No pets, sorry.
If you're planning walks, the Brecon Beacons National Park site has maps. For the coast, Explore Gower is useful.
