Ty Llaethdy
Ty Llaethdy is a cottage for two. It's on a working farm just outside Gowerton. The view from the front is over fields.
It's a 4 Star place. That means it's comfortable and well kitted out. It's all on one level, so no stairs to worry about. The bathroom is en-suite.
You have your own little patio area. There's also a shared games room with a pool table and table tennis if you fancy it. On site parking is right outside.
Gowerton village is about half a mile. There's a shop and a pub there. The train station is handy if you don't want to drive everywhere.
You're right on the edge of the Gower. The coast is about ten minutes by car. You've got Llanrhidian Marsh and the Loughor estuary right there for walks. For a big beach, Rhossili Bay is about twenty-five minutes drive. It's National Trust land and very good for a long walk. National Trust Rhossili.
Swansea is fifteen minutes away for bigger shops, the marina, or the beach at the Mumbles. There's a cycle track from Gowerton all the way to the Mumbles if you're feeling energetic.
In the other direction, Carmarthenshire is about half an hour. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is there. National Botanic Garden of Wales.
