The Granary is in Three Crosses, in the middle of the Gower. It used to be a farm building. It's one of a few cottages here, all done up from the old farm.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both en-suite, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. That means it's well looked after, with good fittings. It's comfortable, not just a basic holiday let.
The stairs are the original ones, so they're a bit steep and turn a corner. There's a stairgate at the top.
You've got your own enclosed garden. It's not huge, but it's private and gets the sun. Parking is right outside.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
The village pub is about a five minute walk. It's old, does food, and is a proper local. The shop is a similar distance.
Location is the main thing. You're about a 15-minute drive from the north coast beaches, like Llangennith, and the same to south coast ones like Oxwich. The Gower Coastal Path is all around you. For walking inland, Cefn Bryn is a short drive and gives you views over everything.
If you want to go further, Swansea is 20 minutes by car for shops or the marina. The National Trust at Rhossili is about half an hour. The Brecon Beacons are maybe 45 minutes to an hour if you fancy a change from the coast.
It's a working farm around the cottages, so you'll see sheep and sometimes hear tractors. That's just how it is here.
