Poppy Cottage
Poppy Cottage is one of a few cottages on our farm here in Dunvant, in a little valley on the Gower. It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep and sometimes hear tractors.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. The bathroom's on the first floor with the master bedroom and a twin room. Then there's another twin room up in the attic on the second floor. The stairs to the attic are pretty steep, just to warn you.
Downstairs is open plan. Living room at the front, kitchen and table at the back. The door from the kitchen leads out to your own patio with a table and chairs. There's a shared lawn out the front with picnic benches.
You're on a farm, so the Wi-Fi is there but it can be patchy. We provide it, we just can't guarantee the signal strength all the time. There's a TV and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
There's a shared games room in one of the outbuildings with a pool table and some toys. Also a laundry room with a freezer that has a labelled drawer for each cottage.
The beach at Oxwich is about four miles away. You're well placed for the rest of the Gower too, like Rhossili. The Mumbles is a short drive for shops, the pier, or Oystermouth Castle. For walkers, you can pick up paths straight from the farm. The local pub is a ten minute walk up the lane.
