Ty Cae Mawr

Ty Cae Mawr is one of five cottages here on the farm. It's for two people, so a couple or a solo traveller. It's a one-bedroom place, with the bathroom ensuite.

The cottage has a 4 Star rating. That means it's nicely done inside, double glazed, warm. It's all open plan downstairs, so kitchen, living area, all in one room.

You're on about thirty acres of farmland. It's quiet. Gowerton village is half a mile down the lane, for a shop and a pub. A local train station there can take you west or inland.

The beach is the main thing. Rhossili Bay is about a twenty-minute drive. It's a long, sandy beach, good for walking. The National Trust looks after the headland there. Other beaches like Three Cliffs Bay are within fifteen or twenty minutes too.

There's a shared games room on site with a pool table and table tennis. You've got your own patio area with furniture. Parking is right outside.

Inside, there's a TV, WiFi, a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.

If you want to go further, Swansea is about twenty minutes by car for shops, the marina, that sort of thing. The Mumbles is along the coast. For a full day out, Cardiff is under an hour's drive.
