Murton Farm Cottage is in Murton village, just on the edge of the Gower. It's end of terrace. It's old, 16th century, so the walls are thick and the floors aren't all level.
It sleeps five. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. The rating is 3 Star, so it's clean and comfortable but not modern or fancy.
Outside, you have a small lawned area. It opens onto our property and the garden centre, so you might see us pottering about. The farm shop is right there, which is handy.
The village itself has the basics: a post office, a pharmacy, a pub that does food, and that farm shop. The Gower coast is about a mile and a half away. You can be on a beach quite quickly.
Swansea is about ten minutes by car for bigger shops, the marina, or a cinema. The Mumbles is a fifteen-minute drive along the coast. It's nice for a walk and an ice cream.
The main reason to be here is for the Gower. The coastal path is right there. Rhossili Bay is about twenty minutes drive, which is a huge, famous beach. For walking or surfing, it's all very close.
Inside, there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. We provide bedding. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and parking. We can provide a cot and highchair. No pets, sorry.
