Lily Cottage
Lily Cottage is on a working farm in Dunvant, near Swansea. It's part of a small row of three cottages. You get your own patio and garden furniture out the back, and there's a shared lawn and picnic tables at the front.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's spread over three floors, so you need to be okay with stairs. The top bedroom is an attic room with twin beds.
Downstairs is all open plan. Living area at the front, kitchen and dining table at the back. It's furnished simply, everything works. We provide bed linen and towels.
There's a shared games room in one of the outbuildings, and a laundry room with a washing machine. There's also a shared freezer with a compartment for each cottage.
The Wi-Fi is included, but just to be clear, the signal can be patchy. We're in a bit of a valley here and it's a rural spot.
You're right on the edge of the Gower Peninsula. The coast is about four miles away. For beaches, you've got Oxwich, Caswell, and Rhossili Bay. They're all within a 20-30 minute drive.
For a day out, you can drive into Mumbles. It's about six miles. They've got the pier and Oystermouth Castle. There are plenty of places to eat along the front.
If you like walking, you can pick up footpaths from the farm. For a bigger day out, you can be on the western tip of the Gower at Worm's Head in under 45 minutes.
Facilities wise: we've got a cot, highchair, and a stairgate. There's on-site parking. The cottage is all on one level from the parking area to the front door. Sorry, no pets.
