Right, Lily Cottage. It's one of four cottages in a line on Duffryn Farm just outside Dunvant. They're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep in the fields and the farmer going about his business.
It's a three-storey place, sleeps six. There are three bedrooms: a double on the first floor, a twin on the first floor, and another twin up in the attic. One bathroom, also on the first floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's in good order.
You get your own patio out the back with a table and chairs. There's a big shared lawn at the front for kids to run about on, and a picnic bench by your front door. There’s a shared games room in the farmyard with a pool table and some board games.
Inside, the ground floor is all open plan. Living room at the front, kitchen and dining table at the back. It’s got what you’d expect: TV, washing machine, fridge. The Wi-Fi is included, but I have to say, the signal can be patchy. We’re in a valley here and it’s a rural spot, so it comes and goes.
The stairs are standard cottage stairs. They're fine, but watch your head going up to the attic.
You're about four miles from the Gower coast. You can drive to places like Oxwich or Caswell Bay in about 15 minutes. Rhossili is a bit further, maybe 25 minutes. Swansea and the Mumbles are a 20-minute drive for shops and restaurants.
You're welcome to bring one dog. We provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside the cottage.
If you're planning trips out, these sites are useful: National Trust Gower for beaches and walks, and Visit Wales Gower has good general information.
