Jones' Stable is in Lunnon, which is up in the hills above Gower. It's next to our farmhouse. It used to be where the shire horses lived. Now it's a cottage for two.
It's stone built, so the walls are thick and it stays cool in summer. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well equipped. You get the whole place, with your own enclosed garden at the front. It's a sun trap in the afternoon.
Inside it's all on one level. The main room is open plan, with the sitting and dining area. There's an electric stove that looks like a wood burner. It throws out a good heat. The kitchen is a galley style off the back. There's a useful boot room area there for coats and muddy boots. The bedroom has a double bed with Welsh blankets. The bathroom has a shower.
The garden is fully enclosed, so it's safe for a dog. We allow one well-behaved pet. There's parking right outside the back door.
For facilities, it's got a dishwasher, a TV, WiFi, and all the bedding and towels are included. We can put up a cot or a highchair if you need one.
Location wise, you're about a twenty minute drive from some of the best bits of Gower. Three Cliffs Bay and Pennard are that way. The coast path is spectacular. For a longer beach day, Rhossili is about half an hour by car. The Visit Wales site has good walking info.
If you're coming with more people, this place is right next to Jones' Granary. You can book them together.
