Windsmoor Cottage On Gower

Windsmoor Cottage is in Perriswood on the Gower. It's a semi-detached stone cottage. There's a view of Cefn Bryn hill out the back and you can see a bit of the coast from the front.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well looked after. It's been renovated. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep.

The garden is enclosed. It's a good size. There's a patio with French doors from the kitchen. We've left a barbecue out there.

Inside, there's a wood burner in the living room. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot and a highchair in if you need them. You can bring one dog.

The Gower is right there for walking. You can walk to Oxwich Bay and Three Cliffs Bay from the cottage. For a bigger beach, Rhossili is about a fifteen minute drive. The coast path is all along there.

Locally you can do surfing, kayaking, that sort of thing. There's horse riding nearby. Pennard Golf Club is a few miles away.

The nearest pub and restaurant is about three miles. The nearest shop is about five miles, so it's worth picking things up on your way in. Swansea is about twenty minutes by car for bigger shops, restaurants, and the marina. Mumbles is a bit closer, with the pier and the lifeboat station.

If you're planning days out, these sites are useful: The Gower Peninsula, National Trust Gower, and Visit Wales Coastal Activities.
