Teal is in Llanmadoc, on the Gower. It's a semi-detached cottage set back from the lane, on our smallholding. Sleeps two, one bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The front is a private courtyard with a little stream running past it. We have ducks, horses, and sheep around. You're welcome to walk the field paths from the door, but if you bring a dog, please keep it on a lead here because of the livestock.
Inside, it's all open plan downstairs with a wood burner. There's a Smart TV and a washing machine. Upstairs is the bedroom. The stairs are fairly steep, typical for a cottage conversion.
The local pub is about a mile away in Llanmadoc village, and there's a shop there too. For a big beach, Rhossili Bay is about ten minutes' drive. It's a good long walk. Llangennith beach is closer if you want to watch the surfers.
You can walk to the coast from here if you don't mind a proper hike. Otherwise, everything is a short drive. The National Trust looks after a lot of the headlands and beaches. Visit Wales has general information.
Facilities: parking right outside, bedding and towels are included, there's a cot if you need one. WiFi is okay. Pets are welcome, up to three.
This place can be booked with the cottage next door, Mallard, if you're coming with another couple.
