The Old Byre is our place. It's a converted cow shed in Pitton, on the Gower coast. We’re next door, and our farm is just down the lane. The property looks out towards Worm’s Head.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms and its ensuite bathroom is on the ground floor. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are standard for an old building.
The garden is enclosed, which is good for dogs and kids. There's parking for two cars on the gravel.
You can walk to the local pub and restaurant in a few minutes. The nearest beach is about a quarter of a mile away. For a shop, you’d need to drive to Llangennith, about three miles.
The good beaches are all close. Llangennith is great for surfing. Three Cliffs Bay and Fall Bay are stunning for a walk. You can get onto the Wales Coast Path from the door. Worm’s Head is the big headland you can see. It's a proper walk over the causeway, check the tide times. You often see seals.
If you fancy something different, the Perriswood Archery and Falconry Centre is about ten minutes’ drive.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs with a woodburner. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. We provide bedding and towels. We have a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
