Mallard
Mallard is a semi-detached cottage in Llanmadoc on the Gower. It's on our smallholding. We live next door. You'll see ducks, sheep, and chickens about.
It sleeps four, two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's all on the ground floor. Everything's included, bedding, towels, electricity. There's an open fire, WiFi, and a Smart TV. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The front has a courtyard area with a bench. There's a stream. The field to the right is ours and you're welcome to use it, but if you've got dogs they must be on a lead because of the livestock.
You can walk straight from the door. The beach at Llanmadoc is about a mile away through the dunes. Rhossili Bay is a bit further, maybe a twenty minute drive. It's a very good beach. Worms Head is there too, you have to check the tide times. The pub in Llanmadoc is a ten minute walk.
If you like watersports, Llangennith beach is the main spot for surf. That's about a fifteen minute drive.
Further out, the National Trust has a lot of the coast here. For birdwatching, the Penclawdd Bird Hide is about twenty minutes by car. The Gower is good for cycling.
You can bring up to three dogs. There's bike storage. We can provide a cot and highchair if you need them. We also have another cottage, Teal, next door if you need more space for a larger group.
