Middleton Hall Middleton

This is Middleton Hall. It's a detached farmhouse on the Gower Peninsula in South Wales. It's on our working farm, but the cottage and its garden are all yours. The main view is out over the fields towards Worm's Head and the sea.

It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Being an old farmhouse, the floors can be a bit uneven in places. Something to be aware of.

You're about a mile from the coast. Llangennith Beach is a good, long sandy beach for walks or surfing. Fall Bay and Three Cliffs Bay are close too, but check the tide times for Three Cliffs. Right outside, you're on the Wales Coastal Path. Walking out to Worm's Head is the big local adventure. The views from the top are fantastic on a clear day. You can sometimes see seals. Do check the tide timetable before you go, as the causeway gets cut off.

The local pub and restaurant is about a quarter of a mile down the lane. It's a straightforward walk. The nearest shop for a big grocery run is in Llangennith, about three miles away.

If you fancy a change from the beach, the Gower Heritage Centre is about a 20-minute drive for crafts and local history. For a proper day out, you can drive into Swansea in under half an hour. The National Trust looks after a lot of the coastline around here, their website is good for walk ideas.

For facilities, you've got the basics covered: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. Outside there's a fully enclosed garden with a barbecue and patio area. Parking is right there. We include all bedding and towels. You can bring one well-behaved dog. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
