Tirmynydd Farm Cottage is in Three Crosses, on the Gower Peninsula. It's a detached stone cottage. The house is old, about 200 years old, and my family have owned it for over a hundred.
It sleeps eight people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. One of the bedrooms and a wet room are on the ground floor, which is handy if stairs are a problem. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and we keep it clean.
The garden is big, about two thirds of an acre. It's enclosed, so it's safe for kids or a dog. There's a patio with furniture and a lawn. There's even a little outbuilding the kids tend to use as a den. The Gower Way long-distance footpath runs right past the bottom of the garden.
In the village, there's a pub that does good food and a shop with a post office. There's a play park and a golf course. We've even got a reindeer herd nearby, which is unusual.
The coast is about five miles away. Rhossili Bay is a bit further, maybe twenty minutes by car. It's a very good beach. Swansea city centre is also about five miles in the other direction, for shops or a cinema.
The house has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for a couple of cars. Bedding and towels are included. We leave a welcome pack with some basics when you arrive. You can bring one well-behaved dog. We've got a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them.
