Rose Cottage is in Pembrey, right on the main road into the village. It's detached, so no neighbours on the other side of the wall. You get a lawned garden out the back, it's enclosed.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. The stairs are a bit steep, like a lot of these older places.
There's a shop and a pub about a hundred yards away. The pub does food. For a bigger shop, you'd drive to Burry Port or Llanelli.
The main thing here is the location for getting out. You're right by the Millennium Coastal Path for walking or cycling. You can follow it all the way to The Gower if you're keen. Visit Wales has details on the coast path.
Pembrey Country Park is basically on the doorstep. That's miles of beach, forest walks, and a dry ski slope. Carmarthenshire Council runs it. The motor racing circuit and Ffos Las racecourse are very close too.
Within half an hour you can be in Llanelli for the rugby, or Tenby for the beaches and harbour. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about a 30 minute drive inland.
Inside, it's got what you'd expect: wifi, TV, a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking. You can bring up to two dogs. We've got a cot, highchair and stairgate if you need them.
