This is Rose Cottage in Pembrey. It's a detached cottage, but it's right on the main road. That's handy for getting places, but you will hear the traffic. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you've got dogs or kids. It's a nice lawned area.
It sleeps five. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's clean and comfortable but not high-end. We've put in a dishwasher and there's a washing machine. WiFi works fine. Bedding and towels are included.
You can bring up to two dogs. There's a stairgate and we can provide a cot and highchair.
The shop and the pub are about a minute's walk away. The pub serves food. There's a restaurant a mile down the road in Burry Port.
Pembrey Country Park is basically on your doorstep. You've got miles of beach there, forest walks, and a dry ski slope. The Millennium Coastal Path runs right past, you can cycle it to Burry Port harbour or further. For golf, there's the Ashburnham course nearby, which is a Jack Nicklaus one. The Scarlets play at Parc y Scarlets in Llanelli, if you like rugby.
You can drive to Tenby in about half an hour. It's got good beaches and the town is worth a look. The National Botanic Garden of Wales is about 25 minutes away.
