The Byre
The Byre is in Llandilo, near the Preseli Hills. It's a stone cottage, one of three on the same private drive. It's a few hundred metres off the road, so it's very quiet. You look out over fields.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, so it's done to a high spec. Everything's new and works well. There's underfloor heating downstairs. The main living area has a vaulted ceiling and a wood burner.
Both bedrooms have stable doors that open onto your own patio. The garden is enclosed, with outdoor furniture and its own wood-fired hot tub. You can use the hot tub whenever you like. There's also a big shared garden area with a campfire spot by a stream.
The owners have some friendly Belted Galloway cows in the nearby field. You're welcome to walk around the small lake on the land.
The village of Maenclochog is about two miles away. It has a shop, a petrol station, a café, and a pub.
You're right on the edge of the Preseli Hills for walking. It's about a 25 minute drive to get to the Pembrokeshire coast, either north or south. Newport and Tenby are both good for a day out. There are places like Oakwood Theme Park and Folly Farm within half an hour's drive.
Facilities: everything's included. Bedding, towels, WiFi, parking. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, EV charger, and bicycle storage. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance. You can bring up to two dogs.
