Y Glowty is a barn conversion in Maenclochog, right at the bottom of the Preseli Hills. It's detached. You get the whole place to yourselves.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and two bathrooms, which helps with the morning queue. It's a 4 Star place, so everything's in good order and it's been looked after. The main room is open-plan, with stone walls and a wood burner. It's a decent size for everyone to sit together. There's a separate sunroom that looks out onto the garden.
The garden is enclosed. There's a hot tub out there. It's private, so you can use it whenever. The village has a shop for basics, a café that does breakfast, and a pub with local beer.
You're in the hills here. Foel Cwmcerwyn, the highest point in Pembrokeshire, is about a 30-minute walk from the door. The views from up there are very good. The old slate village of Rosebush is a few minutes' drive away. The pub there, Tafarn Sinc, is a proper traditional one with sawdust on the floor. It's worth a visit.
For a day out, Tenby is about half an hour's drive. It's a proper seaside town with a castle, good beaches, and those coloured houses around the harbour. If you've got children, places like Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, and Heatherton are all within a 30-minute drive.
Facilities wise: there's a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot, highchair, and stairgate if you need them. There's parking on site. And we accept up to three dogs.
