The Stable

The Stable is in Tufton, just north of the Preseli Hills. It's a one bedroom place, sleeps two. It's on our farm where we raise sheep and beef cattle. You're in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.

It's a converted stone stable. The conversion is simple, nothing fancy, but it's clean and comfortable. You get a 4 Star rating here, which feels about right. The main thing is the view. You look out over the fields towards the hills.

There's a patio area with a table and chairs. You've got your own parking spot right outside. Inside, there's a shower room, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are provided. We can put a cot or highchair in for you if you need one.

The local pub is half a mile up the road. They do food. The nearest proper shops are in Letterston, about three miles away. Haverfordwest is nine miles for bigger supermarkets.

You're well placed for the coast. Good beaches like Newport Sands and Whitesands Bay are within a 20 minute drive. St Davids is about 25 minutes away. It's a small city, really, with the cathedral. For walking, you're right on the edge of the Preseli Hills and the coast path is a short drive. The Pembrokeshire Coast National Park site has all the maps and route ideas.

For a different kind of day out, Oakwood Theme Park is about ten miles away. We're a working farm, so you'll see us going about our day with the animals. You're welcome to have a look around if we're about, just ask.

No pets, sorry. The WiFi is okay for emails and browsing.
