Herons Log Cabin is on Rosebush Holiday Park, in the Preseli Hills. It's a detached wooden lodge. Sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There's one shower room and a separate toilet.
It's a 4 Star place. Comfortable, but not fancy. The main living space is open plan, with French doors leading out to a private deck. The deck looks over an ornamental lake. You'll see ducks and coots, and the heron it's named after visits often. The kitchen is well-equipped for holiday cooking.
The park has about eight acres of grounds to walk around. There's a bar on site that serves local ales. Coarse fishing is available on the lake, about a hundred yards from the lodge.
The village pub is twenty yards away. They do food. A shop is a mile away.
You're right in the hills here for walking. A footpath up to Foel Cwmcerwyn, the highest point in Pembrokeshire, starts nearby. The Pentre Ifan burial chamber is a short drive away. The coast is about a twenty to thirty minute drive. Tenby, with its beaches and harbour, is within that range. For a family day out, Folly Farm is also about half an hour away.
Facilities: Parking for one car at the lodge. WiFi. TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
