Herons Log Cabin is in Rosebush, up in the Preseli Hills. It's a detached wooden lodge. You look out over a small, man-made lake. There are always ducks and coots about, and we get a heron most days.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one with its own toilet. There's a main shower room too. The living area is all open plan with French doors onto a raised deck. You get a good view of the lake and the hills from there. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The cabin is on a holiday park. The park has about eight acres of land to walk around, with the lake in the middle. There's a bar on site that serves local ales. The village pub is about twenty yards from the park entrance.
You're in a good spot for getting out. The Pembrokeshire Coast is about a twenty minute drive. Tenby and its beaches are roughly half an hour away. Right on your doorstep, you've got walks up into the hills. Pentre Ifan burial chamber is very close. It's a Neolithic tomb, about 5,000 years old.
If you like fishing, you can do coarse fishing on the lake here. You don't need to go anywhere.
For facilities: there's parking right by the cabin, the garden and deck are private, WiFi is included, and we provide all bedding and towels. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring one dog.
