The Granary
The Granary is on our farm in the Preseli Hills, near Tufton. It's detached and looks out over the fields. It was a granary once.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean.
The stairs are a typical cottage style, so they're a bit steeper than in a modern house. There's a stairgate at the top.
You get the enclosed garden to yourselves. It's a patio area really, with a table and chairs. Good spot for a morning coffee.
The place is on a working farm. We raise sheep and beef cattle. You'll see us about the yard sometimes, and you'll hear the usual farm noises.
You're right in the middle of Pembrokeshire here. The coast is about a fifteen minute drive either way. Good beaches like Newport Sands and Poppit Sands are within half an hour.
The Preseli Hills are on your doorstep for walking. If you head to the coast, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path is all there.
Haverfordwest is the nearest big town, about nine miles away. They've got shops, supermarkets, and a cinema. There's a local shop three miles from the cottage.
For days out, you've got Oakwood Theme Park about twenty minutes away. There's also a chocolate farm, Bluestone, and plenty of places for fishing or horse riding nearby.
Inside, there's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them. No pets, I'm afraid.
