The Milking Parlour

The Milking Parlour is on Bryncoed farm near Llandilo, in Pembrokeshire. It's one of three cottages that used to be farm buildings. It's down a long private track, so it feels remote but it's not hard to get to.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. Both bedrooms have a stable door that opens straight onto your own patio bit. It's got a 5 Star rating. The main room has a high ceiling, underfloor heating, and a wood burner. It's comfortable.

Outside, you've got your own enclosed garden with a patio and a wood-fired hot tub. There's a communal area as well with a campfire spot and a little stream. The owners keep some rare breed cows in the field. You can walk around the small lake on the farm.

The Preseli Hills start just up the road. The village of Maenclochog is about two miles away. It has a shop, a cafe, and a pub.

You're right in the middle of Pembrokeshire here. It's about a 25 minute drive to get to the north coast beaches. Newport is a nice day out on that coast. Tenby, on the south coast, is about the same drive the other way. It's got the classic harbour and good beaches.

If you're after activities, Llys Y Fran reservoir is 20 minutes away for walks and cycling. For a family day, Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, and Heatherton are all within half an hour's drive.

Facilities: you've got the hot tub, the wood burner, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking. There's an electric vehicle charger. It's all on one level so it's wheelchair accessible. You can bring up to two dogs.
