The Granary

The Granary is on our farm in Tan y groes, Ceredigion. It's a detached stone building we converted. We live on site in the farmhouse. The farm is about 48 acres. It's quiet.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The WiFi is decent. You can park right outside, and there's an electric vehicle charger.

There are animals here: alpacas, donkeys, goats, and some poultry. Kids are welcome to come and see them, we're happy to show them around. If you want to use the barbecue hut, we call it the Hobbit House, just ask us when you're here. There's a small charge for that. There's also space in the barn to store bikes if you bring them.

The coast is about five minutes away by car. Aberporth village is close. New Quay is about fifteen minutes drive. You can often see dolphins from the harbour there. Aberaeron is a bit further up the coast, maybe twenty minutes. It's a nice Georgian harbour town with places to eat.

For walks, the Ceredigion Coast Path is right there. Penbryn Beach, which is National Trust, is nearby. So is Cilgerran Castle. Cardigan town is about ten minutes away, it has a castle too. The market town of Newcastle Emlyn is inland, and Cenarth with its waterfalls is close.

Inside, there's a woodburning stove, a TV, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring pets, up to three.

The shop and the local pub are about a mile away. The pub does food.
