The Coach House Loft

The Coach House Loft is on the first floor of an old coach house on our farm in Blaencelyn. It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom.

It's a 5 Star property, which means it's well finished and has everything you'd need. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner. The kitchen is modern. The shower is good.

You have your own private patio garden with a hot tub. It's enclosed, so it's secure. It gets the sun in the afternoon and evening. You can see the pond from the windows. There are ducks.

We're on a 35-acre smallholding. You'll hear sheep and sometimes horses. It's quiet. The coast is about two miles away. The nearest proper beach is Pendine Sands, which is a long, flat beach for walking. Visit Wales Carmarthenshire has more on the area.

We allow one well-behaved dog. There's a fully fenced exercise field you can use to let them run around.

The stairs up to the loft are quite steep. It's fine for most people, but worth knowing if you have mobility issues.

There's a shop about three-quarters of a mile away. The nearest pub is two miles. Carmarthen town is about a twenty-minute drive for supermarkets and more shops.

For days out, the National Botanic Garden of Wales is roughly twenty minutes by car. Dylan Thomas' Boathouse in Laugharne is about half an hour. If you like castles, Carreg Cennen is a dramatic ruin, also within half an hour. Cadw has details for visiting castles.

Facilities are all there: wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, parking. Bedding and towels are included.
