Haybarn Cottage
Haybarn Cottage is on the family estate here in Llwyndafydd. It's a one-bedroom place for two people. It has a 4 Star rating.
The cottage is up some steps. You have your own little balcony with honeysuckle on it. Through the door is one open-plan room. The kitchen is handmade oak. The bedroom has a double bed and the bathroom is en-suite. There's another small balcony off the bedroom with a table and chairs.
You're renting the cottage, but the grounds are shared with the other cottages on the estate. There are gardens, lakes, and walking trails. There's a heated outdoor swimming pool open in the summer and a tennis court. The views from here across the valley are very good.
You're about two miles from the coast. New Quay is one way, Llangrannog the other. Both have beaches, pubs, and places to eat. You can see dolphins in Cardigan Bay sometimes. Boat trips go out from New Quay in the season.
Within about half an hour's drive, you can get to a lot. There's the coastline itself, all the way up to Aberystwyth. Inland, you've got the Cambrian Mountains. For a longer day out, Snowdonia is possible, but it's over an hour away.
Things here include a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding is provided. There's parking right outside. The garden areas are enclosed. The property and the entrance are wheelchair accessible.
