Delfryn is in Llanarth, Ceredigion. It's a cottage that's joined to another at one end. The garden is yours. It's enclosed, which is good if you've got kids or dogs.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms upstairs, and a family bathroom. Downstairs there's another shower room and toilet, which is handy. There's a main living room with a gas stove, and a separate small room off it with a sofa bed if you need it. The stairs are standard cottage stairs, so a bit steep.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been done up well inside. It feels comfortable, not just old.
The village shop is a couple of minutes walk away. The pub is about the same. They do food. For a bigger shop or more restaurants, New Quay is three miles one way and Aberaeron is three miles the other. Both are on the coast.
New Quay has a nice harbour and beaches. You quite often see dolphins from the wall. Aberaeron is a bit smarter, with colourful houses around the harbour.
The coast path is right there. You can walk from New Quay to Aberaeron along it if you fancy a proper hike. Other good beaches like Llangrannog and Aberporth are a short drive away.
Aberystwyth is about a 35 minute drive north. You've got the pier, the cliff railway, and the steam train to Devil's Bridge from there.
Facilities: washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, all bedding and towels included. Parking for one car right outside. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them.
