Bwthyn Gwyn is in Ciliau Aeron. It's a bungalow, so it's all on one level. That's useful if stairs are a problem for anyone. It's semi-detached but you'd never know it, feels very separate. Sleeps four in two bedrooms and there's one bathroom with a shower.
It's got a three star rating, which is accurate. It's clean and comfortable. Not posh, but everything works. You get a decent enclosed garden and patio. It's got parking right there.
The place is surprisingly roomy inside. There's an open plan living area and a proper dining table. It's got WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, and a cot and highchair if you need them. We allow two dogs.
Location wise, it's quiet. There's a restaurant about a hundred yards down the lane. The nearest shop is two miles, the nearest pub is four miles. Aberaeron is less than ten minutes by car for shops and cafes.
You're right by the River Aeron here. It's a good spot for getting to the coast. New Quay is about fifteen minutes drive. You can see dolphins there sometimes from the harbour or a boat. Aberporth, Llangrannog, and Aberystwyth are all within half an hour.
If you go inland, Lampeter and Tregaron are a short drive. You'll hear a lot more Welsh spoken round there, which is nice.
For planning, these might be useful: Visit Wales Ceredigion Coast and the National Trust Wales site for places like Llanerchaeron nearby.
