The Farmhouse

The Farmhouse is near Mydroilyn in Ceredigion. It's a detached house, quite large. It sleeps ten, with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. That's useful for bigger groups or families. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well looked after and comfortable.

The place is spacious. There's a garden and patio for yourselves. It's quiet here, surrounded by fields. You're on a single track lane.

Aberaeron is about six miles away. It's a nice harbour town with coloured houses, shops and places to eat. Lampeter and Tregaron are inland. Tregaron has a real Welsh feel to it. The Cors Caron nature reserve is there, it's a big peat bog with good walks and wildlife. You might see red kites.

The coast is about a twenty minute drive. You can get to New Quay or Aberaeron easily. People often see dolphins off New Quay.

There's a kids' play area on site. You can store bikes. One well-behaved dog is allowed. It says local horse riding is available, but you'd need to arrange that yourself beforehand.

Inside, it has what you'd need: a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, wifi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings. A cot, highchair and stairgate are there if you need them.

There are some other cottages nearby that can be booked together if you have an even bigger group.
