The Mill is in Mydroilyn, near Lampeter. It's a converted watermill, so it's a big, solid stone building. Sleeps eight in four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which basically means everything's in good order and it's comfortable.
You're on a private estate of about 23 acres. There are a couple of other cottages nearby, but it's quiet. There's a play area for children and you can walk around the grounds. There are two private lakes on the land. The views from the windows are just fields and trees.
The village pub is a few minutes' walk. They serve food. The nearest shop is about three miles away in Lampeter.
Aberaeron is about six miles, a 15 minute drive. It's a nice little harbour town with coloured houses around the quay. You can sometimes see dolphins from the coast there. Further up the coast, New Quay is about a 25 minute drive. The harbour there is good for boat trips to try and see the dolphins.
Inland, Tregaron is about eight miles. It's a proper Welsh market town. The river runs right through it and leads out to Cors Caron, which is a big peat bog nature reserve. Good for a walk if you like that sort of open, empty landscape. You often see red kites around there.
For facilities, it's got the main things. Washing machine, dishwasher, Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
