The Mill is in Mydroilyn, near Lampeter. It's a converted watermill, set on a 23-acre estate with a couple of other holiday lets nearby. The main house is separate, so you've got your own space.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well finished and everything works as it should. It's comfortable.
The setting is quiet. You look out over fields and there are two private lakes on the estate. Good for a walk around. There's a kids' play area too.
The village pub is a few minutes' walk. For a supermarket, you'll need to drive to Lampeter, about three miles.
For the coast, Aberaeron is about six miles away. It's a nice harbour town. You can sometimes see dolphins from the coastal path there. New Quay is a bit further, maybe 20 minutes, and that's another good spot for boat trips and dolphin watching.
Inland, Tregaron is worth a visit. It feels quite traditional. The Cors Caron nature reserve is there, which is a big peat bog with walking paths and wildlife like red kites.
Facilities are all there: a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, bed linen and towels included. There's parking right outside. One well-behaved dog is welcome. We have a cot and highchair if you need them.
