Seascape is a flat at the top of a building on the hill in New Quay. It’s on the third floor, so there are stairs to climb. The views from the big windows are the main thing. You look straight out over the harbour and the bay. You can watch the boats from the sofa. We’ve seen dolphins from there too.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating. Everything’s clean and it’s been recently done up. The living space is all open plan.
You’re right in the middle of things. The beach is a couple of minutes’ walk downhill. Shops, cafes, and pubs are basically on the doorstep. The chip shop is good. There are boat trips from the harbour if you want to go out to look for dolphins.
If you want to walk, the Wales Coast Path runs right through. A drive along the coast to Aberaeron is nice for a change. It’s a Georgian harbour town about ten minutes away. Further along, you’ve got Aberystwyth or Cardigan, both about half an hour’s drive. Inland, the market towns like Lampeter are a bit quieter.
The National Trust looks after some good spots nearby. Llanerchaeron is a historic house and farm about twenty minutes away. For a quieter beach, try their cove at Cwmtydu, a few miles up the coast.
Facilities: It has a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed.
