Dairy Cottage
Dairy Cottage is in Llwyndafydd, near Llanarth and Cardigan. It’s part of a small group of cottages on a rural estate, but this one is semi-detached. You share the garden with the cottage next door.
It sleeps four, in two bedrooms. There’s one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s clean and comfortable, without being grand.
You’ve got your own patio with a barbecue. The garden is enclosed. The best bit is the heated outdoor pool on site, which is shared with the other cottages. There's also a tennis court. The grounds are big and have a few animals wandering about, like donkeys and chickens.
The coast is about two miles away. For a good beach day, Llangrannog is about ten minutes by car. New Quay, which is bigger, is about fifteen minutes. They do boat trips from there to see the dolphins. To plan trips, the Cardigan Bay Marine Wildlife Centre has good information.
For walking, the coast path is nearby. The Preseli Hills are under half an hour’s drive. If you want to go further, Snowdonia is a bit over an hour.
Inside, there’s a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding is provided. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Parking is on site. There's also wheelchair access into the cottage.
