Seascape

Seascape is a house just outside New Quay harbour. It's on a quiet lane, one of two cottages next to each other. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over Cardigan Bay from the living room and the garden.

It sleeps seven across four bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The garden is sloping and there's a big terrace with patio doors. Good spot for a coffee in the morning.

The inside has been recently done up. It's a mix of older furniture and newer things. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. We keep a lot of Lego and games there for kids, and a selection of DVDs.

You can walk down to the harbour in about five minutes. New Quay has a Blue Flag beach and the town is right on the water. You can often see dolphins from the harbour wall. Boat trips go from there if you want a closer look. It's a proper little Welsh seaside town.

You're right on the Ceredigion Coast Path here. The walking is excellent. Dylan Thomas lived here for a while, and there's a trail if you're interested.

For days out, Aberaeron is about a fifteen minute drive south. It's a lovely little harbour town with coloured houses. Cardigan is maybe half an hour north, and you've got the castle and the river there. The wider area is great for beaches and coastal walks.

Facilities wise: you've got a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car at the house. We can take up to two well-behaved dogs. There's a cot, highchair, and a stairgate if you need them.
