Seascape is in New Quay, on the coast of mid-Wales. It's a detached cottage at the end of a little lane, next to its sister property, Seafields. You have your own garden and the views out over Cardigan Bay are the main thing. You can see the sea from most rooms.
It sleeps up to seven people. Four bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's been recently done up, so it's comfortable and clean. The garden is big and paved, but it's on a slope. You need to be a bit steady on your feet.
It's about a five minute walk down a footpath to get into New Quay itself. It's a proper little Welsh seaside town. There's a Blue Flag beach and a harbour where you can sometimes see dolphins. You can get boat trips from there.
The living room has a wood burner and patio doors out to the terrace. There's a lot of Lego and some board games for kids, and a selection of DVDs. We’ve put in things like a cot, highchair, and stairgate because we know families use it.
You can bring up to two dogs. The garden is enclosed but it's not totally secure for a real escape artist, so you'd need to keep an eye on them. Parking is on site.
For local information, Visit Wales has a good page on the area. If you're interested in walking the coast path or visiting historic sites, National Trust Wales and Cadw are useful. The Dylan Thomas Trail in the town is there if you're interested.
Aberystwyth is about half an hour's drive north if you want a bigger town or the university botanic gardens. South of here, you've got the Cardigan area and the Teifi Valley.
