Croft Y Beudy is on our family farm, a couple of miles outside Aberaeron. The farm's been here since the 1660s. The cottage is detached and you've got your own garden. It looks out over the fields.
It sleeps four, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms, which is handy. It's a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's wheelchair accessible at the entrance, but the rest of the cottage has steps and different floor levels because it's an old building. The kitchen has a Rayburn for heating, plus an electric oven for cooking. There's a wood burner in the living room.
You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside. All bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi, a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Aberaeron is a ten minute drive. It's a small harbour town with good places to eat and some nice shops. The Coastal Path goes through it. From there you can walk to Cei Bach beach, which is a sheltered sandy spot.
New Quay is about twenty minutes up the coast. That's where you can go on boat trips to look for dolphins. The Vale of Rheidol Railway starts in Aberystwyth, which is half an hour away. If you want a proper adventure, you can book a Land Rover safari into the hills from Mountainland Rovers nearby.
