Plas Bach

This is Plas Bach. It’s near Llannon in Ceredigion, on the west Wales coast. It’s a small, detached place for two people.

The main thing is the view. You’re about 100 metres from the sea, looking straight out over Cardigan Bay. On a clear day you can see along the coast for miles. The sunsets are good from the bedroom window.

It’s all on one floor, so it’s accessible. There’s an open plan living area with big windows that fold back. They lead onto a deck with glass windbreaks, so you can sit outside even when it’s breezy and still see everything. There’s a table and some daybeds out there. There’s a second garden area with seating too.

Inside, there’s a kitchen with a fridge, dishwasher and microwave. One bedroom with a super king size bed. The bathroom is a wet room with a walk-in shower.

It has a 5 Star rating, which means it’s well-equipped and finished to a high standard. There’s underfloor heating, WiFi, a washing machine, and parking right by the cottage.

The local village is under a mile away. It has a pub that does food, a shop, and a butcher. Aberaeron, which has more shops and restaurants, is about five miles south.

You’re right next to the Ceredigion Coastal Path. You can walk from the door. South goes towards Aberaeron and Newquay, north goes towards Aberystwyth. You can sometimes see dolphins from Newquay.

By car, you’re about halfway between Cardigan and Aberystwyth. Aberystwyth has the Vale of Rheidol Railway which goes to Devil’s Bridge. Inland, places like Tregaron and the Elan Valley reservoirs are within a 30 minute drive.

There’s bicycle storage if you bring bikes. No pets.
