This is Plas Bach. It's a little one-bedroom place, sleeps two. It's on the coast near Llannon, in Ceredigion. The main thing is the view. You're right by the sea, about a hundred metres back, and you're looking straight out over Cardigan Bay.
It's all on one floor, which makes it simple. Open plan living area, a kitchen with a dishwasher, and a wet room shower. The bed is a super king size. The big feature is the deck out front. It’s got full-length windows that fold back, and the deck is sheltered with glass panels so you can sit out even if there’s a bit of a sea breeze. You get the sunset from there.
It’s got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. There's underfloor heating, a washing machine, and parking right there. The whole place is designed to be accessible, with level access and grab rails in the shower.
You’re pretty secluded, but not isolated. The village of Llannon is less than a mile away. It’s got a pub that does food, a shop, and a butcher’s. For more options, Aberaeron is about five miles. That’s a nice harbour town with places to eat.
If you like walking, you’re right on it. The Ceredigion Coastal Path is literally outside. You can walk south towards Aberaeron and Newquay, or north towards Aberystwyth. You can sometimes see dolphins from Newquay. For a drive, you’re about halfway between Aberystwyth and Cardigan, so both are easy. The steam railway from Aberystwyth up to Devil's Bridge is a good trip. Red kites are common around here, you’ll see them from the deck.
