Gwarffynnon Barn is on our farm here in Bethania, Ceredigion. It's a detached barn we converted years ago. It's just for two people.
It's got one bedroom and one bathroom, both on the ground floor. The rating is 4 Star. It's comfortable and well looked after. The walls are thick stone and there are plenty of old beams, which means some of the doorways are low. You'll need to mind your head.
You're on a working farm, so you'll see sheep in the fields and hear the usual farm noises. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog. We allow one.
The coast is about a fifteen minute drive. Aberaeron, Aberystwyth and New Quay are all roughly that way. They've got proper harbour fronts, places to eat, and beaches. You can sometimes see dolphins from the coast path.
Inland, it's all countryside and hills. There are walks straight from the door if you want them. For a longer drive, you can get to the southern edge of Snowdonia in under an hour.
Inside, it's all there for a stay: wifi, a washing machine, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We've left a cot and a highchair in there if you need them.
