Gelli Hir is in Blaenpennal. It's a semi-detached cottage. You have ten acres here, mostly fields with a couple of small lakes. There's a lawned garden too.
It sleeps four. Three bedrooms: one double and two singles. One family shower room. It's a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The living area is all open plan, with a kitchen and a dining table. There's a gas stove that looks like a wood burner. We've put in a utility room as well, with a washing machine.
You're about three miles from Tregaron. That's where you'll find a shop and a pub called Y Talbot. They do food.
There's a lot of nature right here. You can walk around the grounds. Cors Caron, the big bog nature reserve, is nearby. They have a good boardwalk path. There's also the Ystwyth Trail, which is a flat cycle path on an old railway line.
For a proper day out, Devil's Bridge and its waterfalls are about a 30 minute drive. The Hafod Estate, which is National Trust, is in that direction too. The coast is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes to Aberaeron or New Quay. Aberystwyth is about 45 minutes. All the Ceredigion coast path is there if you want it.
Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher, and a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one well-behaved dog.
