Neuadd Las is near Tregaron in Wales. It's a big, detached house that used to be a guest house. It sleeps up to seventeen people, which is why there are ten bedrooms and eight bathrooms. That's the main thing about it.
The view is good. You can see right over the Cors Caron Nature Reserve and the mountains from the front. The river runs along the bottom of the garden and you have the fishing rights if that's your thing.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable, but it's an old building. The floors aren't all perfectly level, which is normal for somewhere this age. The stairs are fine. There's a games room with a pool table and things to keep people occupied.
Outside, there's a patio and garden with a barbecue. You get the whole place to yourselves, obviously. It's off a quiet lane, very rural.
Tregaron is a small market town about a mile away. There are shops, a couple of pubs, and restaurants there. For a bigger town, Aberystwyth is about half an hour's drive. They've got the castle, the university, and the sea front there. The Vale of Rheidol Railway is worth a trip if you like trains.
The location is really for being outdoors. You can walk straight onto Cors Caron, which is good for birds. The Cambrian Mountains are all around for walking or cycling. The coast at Aberaeron is maybe 25 minutes away by car. Further afield, you've got places like Machynlleth and the Centre for Alternative Technology within about 45 minutes.
Inside, it's well set up for a big group. There's a dishwasher and washing machine, plenty of showers, TVs, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot if you need one. Plenty of parking on the drive.
No pets allowed, sorry.
