Ivy Bush Cottage
Ivy Bush Cottage is in Llanddewi Brefi, in Ceredigion. It's one of four stone cottages in a row. My family has owned three of them for about a hundred and fifty years.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. There are beams and a wood burner. The stairs are normal.
There's a village shop about 150 yards away, and a pub about 200 yards. Both are handy. Tregaron is three miles away for more shops and a couple of places to eat.
The cottage is right at the edge of the Cambrian Mountains. You can walk or cycle straight from the door. Cors Caron nature reserve is about four miles away, it's a big bog with a good boardwalk path. Strata Florida Abbey is a 12th century ruin, it's about a 20 minute drive.
The coast is about 35 minutes by car. Aberystwyth has a pier and promenade. Aberaeron is a nice harbour town. Several beaches allow dogs all year.
Outside, there's an enclosed garden with a barbecue. You look out over slate roofs towards the church. You often see red kites flying over.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's parking right outside.
