Ivy Bush Cottage
Ivy Bush Cottage is in Llanddewi Brefi. It's in a row of four stone cottages, built by my great-great grandfather. We still own three of them.
It sleeps four, in two rooms. One bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's comfortable, not that it's huge. It's a cottage. There are beams and a woodburner. The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep.
The garden is enclosed. You get a view of the village church over the rooftops. We often see red kites flying over.
The village shop is a couple of minutes walk. There are two pubs about the same distance. Tregaron is three miles away for more shops.
You can walk from the door. The Cors Caron nature reserve is about four miles away, it's a big bog with a boardwalk. For history, the Strata Florida Abbey ruins are about a twenty minute drive.
The coast is about thirty five minutes in the car. Aberystwyth has a promenade and a pier. Aberaeron is a nice harbour town. Several beaches allow dogs all year.
Inside, there's a washing machine, dishwasher, and wifi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's parking.
