Yr Hen Beudy is on our farm, about two miles outside Tregaron. It's a detached stone barn we did up a couple of years ago. You're on your own out here, with views over the fields.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and one bathroom, plus a shower room downstairs off the first bedroom. The stairs are wooden and a bit steep, which is pretty normal for a barn.
The main room is all open plan, with the kitchen, dining table, and sitting area with the wood burner. It works well for everyone being together. The garden is enclosed, there's a barbecue, and there's a hot tub.
You're welcome to walk around the farm lanes, but please shut any gates you find open. We have sheep and cattle.
Tregaron has a couple of pubs, a good butcher, a small Co-op, and a few other shops. The bog, Cors Caron, is just on the edge of town. It's a big nature reserve, good for a flat walk. The Wildlife Trusts site has details.
You're right on the edge of the Cambrian Mountains. The road north from Tregaron up to Devil's Bridge is very scenic. Aberystwyth is about half an hour's drive. New Quay and Aberaeron on the coast are about the same.
For walks and general information, Visit Ceredigion is useful. The National Trust looks after a few places nearby too, like Llanerchaeron.
The place has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking for a few cars. We include bedding and towels. You can bring up to two dogs.
