Bwthyn Onnen is near Pontrhydfendigaid. It's on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and cattle in the fields. It's one of three converted barns together. If you book with a bigger group you can open internal doors between them to make a larger house.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom. The living space is open plan with a high ceiling. There's a leather sofa and a wood burner. The wood is provided.
Outside, there's a patio with a barbecue and, of course, the hot tub. It's private to your cottage. Parking is right outside. You can bring one dog. We also have stables and a paddock if you want to bring a horse on holiday.
The farm is 140 acres. You can walk out from the door onto the land and it links straight onto the Ystwyth Trail, which is good for cycling. The Cambrian Mountains start just up the road.
Tregaron is a couple of miles away. It's a small market town. The Rhiannon Welsh Gold Centre there is worth a look. They have an art gallery and jewellery. The big event here is the trotting races, which are actually held on the farm. It gets busy.
Aberystwyth is about a twenty minute drive. It's a university town with a promenade, the National Library, and a cliff railway. You can get the steam train from there up to Devils Bridge.
For wider planning, the Visit Wales Ceredigion site has good information, and the National Trust page for the area lists nearby estates and walks.
Facilities: Wi-Fi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a highchair and a cot if you need them. The shop and the nearest pub are a mile away.
