This is Allt Du. It's a house in Llanddewi Brefi, near Tregaron in Ceredigion. It's detached and sits up on the hillside, so you get a good view of the valleys.
It sleeps ten, in five bedrooms. That's a lot of people, but there are four bathrooms, so you're not all queuing. It was done up properly in 2021, so it's in good nick. It has a 5 Star rating.
The stairs are fine. There's a step down into the main living area from the hall, which you notice the first time. The garden is enclosed, so it's safe for kids or dogs. You can bring two dogs.
You've got everything in the house: towels, bedding, dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. There's a cot and high chair if you need them. The parking is right there.
Tregaron is the nearest proper town. It's small but has a decent pub and some shops. The Cors Caron bog is just outside it. It's a big nature reserve, good for a flat walk and spotting red kites.
The Cambrian Mountains are right here. The roads through them are empty and the views are massive. It's proper walking country.
The coast is about half an hour's drive. Aberystwyth has a long promenade and a castle. You can get the steam train from there to Devil's Bridge. Aberaeron is a nice harbour town with coloured houses. New Quay is a bit further, a small fishing port. The beaches that way are good.
