Bwlchgraig Fach is my place out near Bwlch Llan. It's a one-bedroom cottage for two people. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The cottage is detached and sits by itself, so it's quiet. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing dogs. You can have up to three. There's parking right outside.
Inside, there's one bedroom with a double bed. One bathroom with a walk-in shower. The main room has a woodburning stove, which is nice in the evening. There's a TV and WiFi. The kitchen has a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. I can provide a cot and a highchair if you need them.
Location wise, it's rural. The nearest pub is about two and a half miles away in Llanarth. There's a shop there too. For a bigger shop or a meal out, you'd drive to Aberaeron, which is about nine miles. It's a nice little harbour town with coloured houses and some good places to eat. From there, you can walk along the flat path to the Llanerchaeron estate.
New Quay is about a twenty minute drive down the coast. They do dolphin spotting boat trips from the harbour in the season. The coast path all along here is excellent for walking.
If you fancy going inland, Tregaron is a twenty minute drive. The Cors Caron nature reserve is right there. Aberystwyth is about half an hour north. You can get the cliff railway up Constitution Hill or the steam train to Devil's Bridge from there.
The main thing is it's a good spot for switching off. You can see the stars at night.
