Brynog Mansion Apartment is in Ystrad Aeron, up a track from the village. It's on the first floor of a big old house. You get two bedrooms and two bathrooms, which is useful if two couples are sharing.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The main thing is the view. The windows look straight down the Aeron Valley. It's just fields and trees. Dylan Thomas said this was the most beautiful valley in Wales, and you can see why he thought that.
Inside, there's a living room, and an open plan kitchen and dining area. One bathroom has a roll-top bath and a separate walk-in shower. The other is a shower room. There's a Smart TV and WiFi. Outside, there's a bit of garden and parking. You can charge an electric car if you need to.
The local pub is about a mile down the lane in the village. It does food. Aberaeron is about seven miles away. It's a proper Georgian harbour town with coloured houses around the port. Good for fish and chips, or the famous honey ice cream. You can walk the harbour wall and watch the boats.
New Quay and Llangrannog are on the coast, about half an hour's drive. Both have nice beaches and are good for dolphin spotting trips in season. Cardigan is about half an hour the other way. Aberystwyth is a bit further, maybe 40 minutes.
If you're planning walks or days out, these websites are useful: Visit Wales and Ceredigion County Council. They've got details on the coastal path and other things to do.
Facilities wise: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a BBQ and the garden is enclosed.
