Brynllin Holiday Cottages - Dildre

This is Dildre, one of the cottages here at Brynllin. It's attached to our farmhouse, where we live. We're on a working sheep farm in Bwlch Llan. It's quiet. You'll hear sheep.

It's all on one level. Two bedrooms, both with king size beds, and each has its own bathroom. That works well for two couples. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. The kitchen has a sofa looking out over the fields, and French doors to a private patio. That's where the hot tub is. The sitting room is separate and cosy.

You can walk a two-mile loop around the land on the footpath. If you want to get a supermarket delivery for when you arrive, we'll take it in and put it away for you. We'll put your wine in the fridge.

The nearest shop and pub are about four miles away in Llangeitho. For a proper day out, Aberaeron is under ten miles. It's a nice harbour town with coloured houses and good places to eat. You can walk or cycle there from the National Trust's Llanerchaeron estate, which is just outside the town.

New Quay is a bit further down the coast. You can get boat trips from the harbour there, and you often see dolphins. Aberystwyth is about half an hour's drive north. You can get the steam train from there up the Rheidol Valley.

Facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a TV, and all bedding and towels are included. We allow up to two dogs. The cottage is on our farm, so you need to be okay with that and keep dogs on a lead around the livestock.
