This is Dildre. It's one of two cottages attached to our house here at Brynllin. We're on a sheep farm in Bwlch Llan, which is quiet and rural. The views are over the fields and hills.
It sleeps four, all on the ground floor. Two bedrooms, both with king-size beds. One has its own bathroom, and there's a second shower room too. So it works for two couples.
You get a kitchen and dining area with a sofa. The French doors open onto your own patio, which is enclosed. That's where the hot tub is. There's another seating area at the front.
It's a 4 Star place. The facilities are good. Everything's included like bedding, towels, WiFi. There's parking right outside.
You can bring up to two dogs. Also, if you want to get a supermarket delivery for your arrival day, we'll take it in and put it away for you. So your food will be in the fridge when you get here.
The local pub, shop, and restaurant are about four miles away in Llanarth. The coast is about nine or ten miles. Aberaeron is the nearest proper town. It's a nice little harbour place with coloured houses, shops, and places to eat. You can walk or cycle there from here along the old railway line. The National Trust's Llanerchaeron estate is just outside it.
New Quay is a bit further down the coast, maybe twenty minutes by car. You can get boat trips from the harbour there to see dolphins. Aberystwyth is about half an hour north. They've got the cliff railway and the Rheidol steam train there.
Inland, you've got Tregaron, which is a market town about twenty minutes away. The Cors Caron nature reserve is just outside it. Good for walking.
There's a footpath circuit of about two miles around the farm land here if you just want a stroll.
If you need more space, Dildre can be booked with the cottage next door, Penceunant, so you'd have room for eight.
