The Stable is in Mydroilyn, about six miles from Aberaeron. It's a converted stable on a private estate of about 23 acres. There are a couple of other cottages on the same site, but you've got your own space.
It sleeps ten. Five bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, so it's well finished and everything works. It feels quite luxurious, but it's still a stable conversion, so the rooms are big and the ceilings are high.
The setting is the main thing. It's quiet, with views over fields and two private lakes on the estate. You can just sit outside and not see another person.
Aberaeron is a nice little harbour town, about a ten minute drive. They've got good places to eat and you can walk the harbour wall. You can often see dolphins off the Ceredigion coast. The coast path is all along there for walking.
Inland, Tregaron is worth a visit. It feels like a proper old Welsh market town. The river runs through it and it leads out to Cors Caron, which is a big peat bog nature reserve. Good for birdwatching. You'll hear Welsh spoken a lot around here.
Facilities are all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, bedding and towels included. There's parking right outside. Kids' play area on site. One well-behaved dog is allowed. The pub is in the village.
