This is Ty Cregyn. It's a semi-detached cottage, next to our house, on the edge of New Quay. It's on the cliff, so you're up high looking out over the bay.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-kept. You can bring one dog. It's all on one level and the entrance is step-free, which is handy.
Inside, there's a decent sized living room with a wood burner for cooler evenings. The kitchen is a galley, but it's got a dishwasher. There's Wi-Fi and a TV. Bedding and towels are included.
Outside, you've got your own patio area. There's also a bit of woodland and the views are out to sea. Parking is right there.
New Quay is about a ten minute walk downhill. It's a proper working harbour. There are pubs, cafes, a chip shop, and a beach. The boat trips from there are good. You often see dolphins and seals.
Aberaeron is a short drive south. It's a nice little town with coloured houses around the harbour. Aberystwyth is about half an hour north, up the coast.
For walking, the Ceredigion Coast Path runs right past. The National Trust's Llanerchaeron estate is nearby, and Visit Wales has information on the area.
The walk back from town is uphill, just so you know.
